Kelly was born and raised in Victoria growing up in Saanich with 3 sisters whom she has always considered her best friends and support system. Along with her sisters she has 3 nieces and 3 nephews.

She left Victoria in 1985 to travel Europe for a year which gave her a greater appreciation for Canada but also a bug for travel which she continues to do each year.

Kelly worked as a realtor for 3 years in Victoria in the late 80's, following in her mothers footsteps before becoming a Mortgage Broker. She left Victoria to start a family and begin her career in Mortgage Brokering in Kelowna, BC after obtaining her Business Diploma from Okanagan College University in 1992. Her career began at with the Equity Centre which is now Mortgage Centre Canada in 1992.

She has been a member of Mortgage Professionals Canada formerly CAAMP and CIMBL, Canadian Association of Accredited Mortgage Professionals and CMBA –BC formerly MBABC (Mortgage Brokers Association of BC) since 1993. Kelly sat on the Education Committee from 1998 to 2001 with MBABC. Kelly also held numerous board positions with MBABC in 2000 to 2001.



She moved to Ontario in 2001 and worked as a Business Development Officer for FirstLine Mortgages in Ontario and British Columbia until 2003. Upon returning to BC she joined the Mortgage Centre for the next three years and was awarded the #1 Agent in Western Canada and the #3 Agent in Canada in 2005.

She also held the position of Vice President from 2003 to 2005,
 as well as Ethics Chair and Co-Chair of the Golf Committee from 2003 - 2008 with the BC Mortgage Brokers Association (MBABC). She was awarded the #3 Broker in Canada status by CMP in 2008.

In 2013 – 2015 Kelly returned to MBABC holding a board of directors position continually giving back to the industry.

Kelly is the proud mother of two boys who are each pursuing their own dreams.
